Shipping and Delivery
Shipping to APO/FPO addresses:
Check the item page for shipping details. Only items marked as "Ships Small Parcel" may be shipped to an APO/FPO address. If your order is being shipped to an APO/FPO address, please select "Ground" as the shipping method. Your order will be shipped via Priority Mail. Packages shipped to APO/FPO addresses are initially shipped to the appropriate U.S. military mail hub which typically takes from 1 to 6 business days. From there, the military delivers the packages, which can take as long as 10-15 additional days. ValueShops.com is not responsible for any packages after they are delivered to the U.S. military mail hub. Considering the processing time, transit time to the military mail hub, and the transit time from the military mail hub to final delivery, your order should be delivered within 2-3 weeks; however, it may take longer depending on military mail handling procedures. Check each item page for shipping details. Only items marked as "Ships Small Parcel" may be shipped to APO/FPO addresses. Please select "Ground" as the shipping option as we cannot ship express to APO/FPO addresses.
Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii:
Check each item page for shipping details. Only items marked as "Ships Small Parcel" may be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii require Standard Overnight or 2-Day Express shipping, for which there is an additional charge. Selecting any other shipping method at checkout will delay your order.
International Shipments:
We do not currently accept international orders. We ship to addresses within the United States only.
Free shipping is available for all orders over $75.00 that are shipped to the contiguous United States. Free shipping does not apply to orders being shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or FPO/APO addresses. When selecting the shipping option "Free Ground Shipping", each product in your order will be shipped by the method described on each item's page. This will be either small parcel, freight truck curbside, inside delivery, or white glove delivery.
Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the checkout page where you will be offered shipping method choices and their prices.
Please refer to each item's page for it's available shipping method. A shipping method icon and link is found near the price on each item's page. Each item page will show one of the following shipping methods:
1. Ships Small Parcel (This includes Ground as well as optional 3-Day Express, 2-Day Express, and Standard Overnight)
2. Ships Freight Truck Curbside
3. Ships Freight Truck Threshold
4. Ships Freight Truck White Glove

SMALL PARCEL
Ground Shipping (Select "Free Ground Shipping" or "Ground Shipping" at checkout):
Smaller products that feature a "Ships Small Parcel" icon and link on their item page are shipped via regular ground shipping (generally USPS, FedEx, UPS or DHL). The average transit time is between 1-6 business days for any destination in the contiguous United States (not including processing time). Delivery times will depend on the local delivery schedule of the carrier. Generally, ground delivery is available Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm. A signature is not typically required. If the customer is not at home to accept delivery, the product may be left at the driver's discretion. If a signature is required the product will not be left at the address. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on the note. Please note that deliveries cannot be made to a PO Box.
Delivery to a business address will be carried out during normal business hours, Monday through Friday only. A signature will be requested on delivery. The carrier is not required to match the signature to the name on the package.
Please note that if you purchase multiple Small Parcel items, they may be shipped via Freight Truck instead at the discretion of the manufacturer.
Optional Express Shipping (Select "3-Day Express", "2-Day Express" or "Standard Overnight"):
Smaller products that feature a "Ships Small Parcel" icon and link on their item page can be shipped via optional express shipping methods for an additional fee shown at checkout prior to entering billing info. Express orders receive priority processing over orders with other shipping methods. We do make every attempt to ship your express order same day or as soon as possible. However, we do not guarantee same day processing or any specific timeframe for processing your order. For example: Choosing "Standard Overnight" means that delivery takes one business day (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) in transit once the shipping company receives it from us or our supplier. However, although we will do everything we can to process the order and give it to the shipping company the same day, please keep in mind that it may take longer. FREIGHT TRUCK SHIPMENTS (Includes Curbside, Threshold, and White Glove).
We want you to enjoy a pleasant shopping experience with us. To ensure that happens, it is important that you understand the shipping and delivery process. Please take a moment to read this shipping information carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
All Freight Shipments:
What is Freight Delivery?
Freight delivery is used when the product is too large or heavy to ship using small parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL). There are 3 types of freight delivery, depending on the item(s) purchased: Curbside, Threshold, and White Glove. To determine what shipping method is used for a particular item, refer to the item's shipping method icon and link found below the product name.
There are uncommon situations in which additional freight charges are required for deliveries via freight truck (curbside, threshold, white glove) to certain locations such as Manhattan, off coast islands, and remote areas with exceptionally high delivery costs. If this is the case, we will not process your order or charge your credit card until you have been notified of the additional cost and have agreed to it. Please contact us if you have questions about your location.
Additional costs may be incurred if you live on a small street that is not accessible by a 48' freight truck (big). In such cases, the freight company will need to transfer your purchase onto a smaller truck for delivery. If you know that large freight trucks cannot access your street (a problem in some densely populated cities and rural areas), you must contact us in advance of placing your order so that we can notify the freight company and obtain a cost estimate for you before you place your order.

Before Delivery…
Since freight shipments are quite different than UPS, FedEx or USPS shipments, we want to make sure that our customers understand the shipping procedures to avoid surprises at the time of delivery. Therefore, soon after placing your order, you will receive an email with a copy of this shipping & delivery procedures information as well as our return policy. Please review the email and reply directly from it stating that you have read it and that you understand and agree to it. This will give us the opportunity to answer any questions you might have concerning your order and the shipping & delivery process. We will not be able to process your order until we have received a reply from you. If you have any questions, please contact us by sending us an email or calling us at 1-888-887-9992.
Once your order has been shipped, we will attempt to contact you, usually by email, to provide you with shipping information such as the trucking company's name, phone number and your tracking number.
If your order is being shipped to a commercial address, the trucking company will usually not call to set up an appointment and will deliver your order during normal business hours. However, you may call the trucking company to get an estimated delivery time.
If your order is being shipped to a residential address, the trucking company will contact you to set up a delivery appointment. It will be a estimated time window of about 2-4 hours. All deliveries occur Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
It is important to keep your scheduled appointment. If you miss the scheduled appointment, the driver will need to reschedule the delivery from the local terminal and they will charge you a re-delivery fee.
If you are not available for a delivery appointment or the carrier cannot contact you, your order will be held for several days and you may be charged for this service. After this time, the order will be returned to the manufacturer for credit under our Return Policy.
Upon Delivery, Inspect Shipment for Missing Items or Damage…
It is very important that you inspect the shipment for damaged or missing product or boxes at the time of delivery and prior to signing the delivery receipt.
If a box is missing, you may accept the delivered pieces, make a note of the shortage on the delivery receipt, and contact us so that we can work with the freight company to locate the missing item(s).
If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason you are concerned with its packaging or delivery, please write, "Product Damaged" clearly on the carrier's delivery receipt. Do not allow the delivery person to talk you out of doing this. This ensures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem. If you do not note the damage it is nearly impossible to get a claim honored by the freight companies.
Once you have signed the delivery receipt, including any notation of damage, make sure to ask the freight carrier for a copy of the delivery receipt.
If a damaged item arrives outside of our business hours, please contact us on the next business day.
If you discover damages after the delivery is complete, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Although we cannot guarantee that claims for damage found after delivery will be honored by the freight company, we will do all that we can work with them to resolve the problem and letting us know ASAP will help the cause. Again, it is most important to check for damage at the time of delivery and if there is ANY reason you are concerned with it's packaging or delivery to write "Product Damaged" clearly on the carrier's delivery receipt.

Freight Truck - Curbside Delivery (Select "Free Ground Shipping" at checkout):
Large and/or heavy products that feature a "Ships Freight Truck Curbside" icon and link on their item page are shipped via this method. Just as the name implies, an order being shipped via Curbside Delivery is delivered to your curbside. It is the customer's responsibility to unload your shipment from the truck. Your shipment is likely to be heavy and large (pay special attention to the estimated weight noted in the item description); therefore, you must have enough able people available to assist you in taking the item off of the truck and into your building. The carrier is not responsible for packaging and debris removal.
For a fee, most freight truck companies offer lift gate services to remove the item from the truck for you or threshold delivery (delivery to garage, porch, front door). These services are not included with curbside delivery. However, if you are interested in them, please contact us prior to shipping for a quote. Or, once your order has shipped we will provide you with the carrier's name and phone number along with the shipment's tracking information. You can then contact the carrier directly to inquire about additional services prior to delivery. It is your responsibility to pay the carrier directly for any additional services.
It is important to keep your scheduled appointment and to have the necessary people available to assist you in taking your shipment off of the truck. If you miss the scheduled appointment or are unable to take the product off of the truck because of the lack of necessary assistance, the driver will need to reschedule the delivery from the local terminal and they will charge you a re-delivery fee.
Freight Truck – Threshold (Select "Free Ground Shipping" at checkout):
Large and/or heavy products that feature a "Ships Freight Truck Threshold" icon and link on their item page are shipped via this method. If an order is shipped using the Freight Truck Threshold method, the freight truck company will place the item at the first threshold of your house without stairs (garage, porch, front door) or loading dock for commercial deliveries. They are not authorized to place the item in the room of your choice, perform assembly services, or dispose of packaging and debris. However, many freight truck companies offer these services for an additional fee. If you are interested in these services, please contact us prior to shipping for a quote. Or, once your order has shipped we will provide you with the carrier's name and phone number along with the shipment's tracking information. You can then contact the carrier directly to inquire about additional services prior to delivery. It is your responsibility to pay the carrier directly for any additional services.
White Glove Delivery (Select "Free Ground Shipping" at checkout:
Large and/or heavy products that feature a "Ships Freight Truck White Glove" icon and link on their item page are shipped via this method. White Glove delivery is a premium service that includes special handling to ensure a safe and convenient delivery.
Includes:
1. A delivery team, which consists of at least two people, will unpack and place your product in the room of your choice.
2. Carrying the product up 2 flights of stairs from the threshold (up to 15 steps = 1 flight).
3. Removal and dispose of packaging material.
Please be sure to have the room ready for delivery of your product as assembly or movement of existing furniture is not included with this service. Additional services and therefore additional charges may be required if the delivery address has limited access (not at least 10 feet wide with a clearance of at least 14 feet overhead), if stairways, doorways, hallways and turns are less than 3ft (36 inches) wide, if delivery involves sharp turns, narrow or gravel driveways, and in some cases gated communities or condominiums, or if having the item carried more than two flights of stairs is required. Unless specifically stated on the item page, assembly of the item is not included with this service. If you are interested in extra services or have questions about possible extra costs, please do not hesitate to contact us prior to shipping. Or, once your order has shipped we will provide you with the carrier's name and phone number along with the shipment's tracking information. You can then contact the carrier directly to inquire about additional services prior to delivery. It is your responsibility to pay the carrier directly for any additional services.
Due to the extra time and people needed to take care of your order, the shipping time may be anywhere from 5 to 18 business days (not including processing time) until the carrier contacts you to set up a delivery appointment.
Depending on your location the carrier may be in your area every day, 2-4 times a week, or as seldom as once every two weeks. Please contact us for specific schedules in your area or any other questions you may have.
WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Please see each individual item page for more information on the availability of each item. The availability estimate on each individual item page refers to how long it will take that item to leave our warehouse once you place your order ("processing time"). It doesn't include the time your order will take to reach you once it has been shipped ("transit time"). Transit time depends upon the shipping option you choose.
After placing your order, you may click the "My Account" link at the top right hand side of our website to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment
Estimated Processing Times:
Processing times noted on each individual item page under "Availability". These are estimates only and we do not guarantee any specific processing time. The processing time is based upon when we have all the correct order information we need. To prevent delays, please double check your billing address and make sure that it matches the address that is on file with the credit card (or other payment method) you are using. We do make every effort to process orders as quickly as possible. Most orders ship within 1-3 business day, but certain items that are customizable and made to order may take much longer. Please use the 'Availability" estimates as a guideline.
Estimated Transit Times:
1. Free Ground: 1 to 6 business days depending the item purchased and delivery location.
2. Ground: 1 to 6 business days depending on the item purchased and delivery location.
3. 3-Day Express: 3 business days
4. 2-Day Express: 2 business days
5. Standard Overnight: Next business day (by the end of the day)
6. Curbside, Threshold Delivery: 4 to 8 business days depending on the item ordered and delivery location. Trucking company will call to set appointment for residential deliveries.
7. White Glove Delivery: Due to the extra time and people needed to take care of your order, the shipping time may be anywhere from 5 to 18 business days (not including processing time) until the carrier contacts you to set up a delivery appointment.
8. APO/FPO: Packages shipped to APO/FPO addresses are initially shipped to the appropriate U.S. military mail hub which typically takes from 1 to 6 business days. From there, the military delivers the packages, which typically takes an additional 10-15 days depending on destination and military mail handling procedures.
